The Corps Program Assistant will assist the Corps Officers with coordinating and implementing youth ministries at the Roseville Corps. This includes leadership for youth development and outreach programs, planning, resource management, volunteer training, and program implementation according to Salvation Army standards. The role involves developing outreach opportunities to attract new community members, managing the afterschool tutoring and mentoring program, overseeing budgets, participating in staff development, and collaborating with offsite partners. The coordinator will ensure a safe, nurturing environment, serve as a liaison with parents, volunteers, and donors, and promote a positive image of the program. Responsibilities also include planning educational environments, establishing interest centers, preparing materials, collecting and reporting data, and fostering a positive, fun atmosphere to increase membership and community engagement. The position functions within the ministry team of the Corps.
