Job summary

Cristo Rey Orlando High School seeks a mission-driven Relationship Manager to build and sustain strong corporate partnerships while guiding students through their Corporate Work Study experience. You will serve as the main liaison between employers, students, and school staff, delivering proactive engagement and tailored support to ensure high-quality CWSP experiences.

The role requires coaching students, understanding workplace cultures, and maintaining clear communication with partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, communications, HR, social sciences, nonprofit management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in relationship management, account management, education, youth development, workforce development, career services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and strengthen relationships with corporate partners, clients, employers, or external stakeholders.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, advising, supervising, or developing students or young adults.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to navigate difficult or sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to corporate partner workplaces throughout Central Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager and point of contact for an assigned portfolio of corporate partners, supervisors, and students.
  • Build authentic, trusted, and long-term relationships with corporate partners by understanding their organizations, workplace cultures, needs, expectations, and experiences with CWSP.
  • Provide a high level of partner stewardship and customer service, ensuring supervisors and partners feel supported, informed, heard, and valued throughout the partnership.
  • Maintain consistent, proactive engagement with partners through workplace visits, check-ins, meetings, calls, and ongoing communication—not only when challenges arise.
  • Develop strong relationships with assigned students and serve as a coach, mentor, and advocate throughout their workplace experience.
  • Help students develop the professional skills, confidence, judgment, communication, and workplace behaviors necessary to succeed.
  • Collaborate with CWSP leadership, the Operations Coordinator, teachers, counselors, families, and other school personnel to support student success.
  • Represent Cristo Rey Orlando professionally within corporate workplaces and throughout the Central Florida business community.

The Cristo Rey Network of 41 high schools delivers a career focused, college preparatory
education in the Catholic tradition for students with limited economic resources, uniquely
integrating rigorous academic curricula with four years of professional work experience
and support to and through college. Cristo Rey partners with educators, businesses and
communities to enable students to fulfill their aspirations for a lifetime of success: students
are two times more likely to complete a bachelor's degree by age 24, compared to the total
U.S. low-income population.

Who We Are

Cristo Rey Orlando High School is located in Orlando, FL, and is part of the national
Cristo Rey Network. The school opened its doors to its inaugural freshmen class in the fall
of 2025. Like all Cristo Rey schools, it is a Catholic, college preparatory high school for
students of all faiths from families of limited financial means. The school is co-educational
and serves students of diverse backgrounds. We help our students grow intellectually,
academically, emotionally, spiritually, socially, and morally. Our aspiration is that all our
students graduate from high school and college and become the future leaders in our

This Role

Cristo Rey Orlando High School is seeking a mission-driven, relationship-focused
professional who is passionate about building strong corporate partnerships and
developing young people. The Relationship Manager serves as a trusted partner to
employers while coaching students to build the skills, confidence, and professional
behaviors needed to thrive in the workplace. This role serves as a critical bridge between
our students, corporate partners, and school community, ensuring a meaningful and
high-quality Corporate Work Study experience for all. This role includes:

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager and point of contact for an assignedportfolio of corporate partners, supervisors, and students.
  • Build authentic, trusted, and long-term relationships with corporate partners byunderstanding their organizations, workplace cultures, needs, expectations, andexperiences with CWSP.
  • Provide a high level of partner stewardship and customer service, ensuringsupervisors and partners feel supported, informed, heard, and valued throughoutthe partnership.

  • Help students develop the professional skills, confidence, judgment,communication, and workplace behaviors necessary to succeed.
  • Conduct regular student coaching conversations and workplace check-ins to assessprogress, celebrate growth, and identify areas requiring additional development.
  • Partner with supervisors to establish clear expectations, gather meaningfulfeedback, and create opportunities for students to grow within their workplace
    assignments.
  • Facilitate productive conversations when student performance or workplaceconcerns arise, balancing student development with partner expectations andexperience.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans and interventions when students needadditional workplace support.
  • Help students understand how their workplace experiences connect to theirinterests, strengths, career exploration, and future goals.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen corporate partnerships through stronger supervisorengagement, meaningful student experiences, and increased connection to theCristo Rey Orlando community.
  • Monitor the overall health of assigned partnerships, identifying risks,opportunities, and trends and escalating significant concerns appropriately.
  • Collaborate with CWSP leadership, the Operations Coordinator, teachers,counselors, families, and other school personnel to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of partner engagement, workplace visits, studentcoaching, supervisor feedback, interventions, and relationship activity.
  • Represent Cristo Rey Orlando professionally within corporate workplaces andthroughout the Central Florida business community.
  • Serve as the bridge between the workplace and the school, ensuring that bothcorporate partners and students have a high-quality CWSP experience.

Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Vice President of Corporate Work Study or Associate Director of Corporate Work Study.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office and comfort working
    with CRM or relationship-management systems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to corporate partner workplaces throughout
    Central Florida.
