Job summary

Skill is seeking a skilled video producer to capture corporate storytelling for a leading organization in Boston. You will work on high-quality B-roll, interviews, and executive messaging using a full professional production kit.

Responsibilities include on-site lighting and audio, proactive on-set planning, and post-production delivery or hand-off to editors. Travel domestically for shoots is expected; collaboration with the Senior Producer will drive impactful visual communications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in corporate video production.
• Owns a full professional production kit (4K camera, lighting, audio).
• Strong post-production capabilities, including audio noise reduction.
• Highly organized, proactive on set and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to travel domestically for shoots.
• Resourceful and able to adapt on set in noisy/variable environments.

About the Role

As a key visual storyteller, you will be instrumental in capturing high-quality video and audio across a variety of environments, from professional office settings to dynamic operational facilities. This role demands a professional who can not only bring top-tier equipment but also possess the skill to capture dynamic footage on set, adapting to challenging audio environments. You will be at the forefront of creating content that defines how this organization communicates its mission and achievements, with immediate project opportunities and ongoing engagement.

What You'll Do

• Capture crisp, corporate-grade B-roll, interview footage, and executive messaging in both corporate office and high-noise, dynamic operational settings.
• Set up professional lighting and audio configurations on location, demonstrating acute attention to detail to fix lighting or noise issues during filming.
• Think like an editor while behind the camera, actively capturing redundant shot options, extra B-roll, and cutaways to guard against footage shortages and adapt on the fly if a scene or environment isn't panning out.
• Perform full post-production edits (e.g., color correction, noise reduction) OR organize and deliver high-quality raw assets for external editors as needed.
• Work closely with the Senior Producer and corporate teams, staying responsive via communication platforms throughout project lifecycles.

What You'll Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience in corporate video production.
• Must own/provide a full professional production kit, including a 4K camera setup, multi-point lighting kit, and high-quality audio equipment (lavaliers, directional mics).
• Strong post-production capabilities, with specific expertise in audio noise reduction for noisy industrial backgrounds.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and curious on set.
• Flexibility to travel domestically for scheduled shoots.
• Ability to adapt and be resourceful; highly proactive on set-able to course-correct in high-noise or shifting environments while maintaining high standards for volume and variety of deadline-driven content.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing video production.
• Drone capabilities.
