Location Designation: Fully Remote

Location: Fully Remote - reports to 51 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10010

Offered Wage: $150,280.00/year

Duties

1. Perform Quality Assurance (QA) evaluations, examine system impacts, and facilitate testing for product releases.
2. Manage onshore and offshore testing resources, develop detailed test cases and scripts.
3. Mentor junior QA staff, share domain knowledge, and guide testing processes.
4. Prepare testing strategies, documents, and high-level estimates.
5. Analyze and define QA testing strategies, maintain test plans.
6. Document and review test automation strategies and frameworks.
7. Review and approve test plans and scripts; manage testing lifecycle.
8. Track testing progress, review results, and obtain UAT approvals.
9. Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate with stakeholders.
10. Collaborate with Test Center of Excellence and participate in test strategy reviews.
11. Support automation, performance, and security testing efforts.
12. Assist Data Analysts with test data management and environment validation.
13. Monitor testing metrics and report progress to IT and business teams.

Education & Experience Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of testing experience in complex environments, OR a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant testing experience including:

• Developing QA strategies and implementing automation using Agile and TDD frameworks.
• Creating test frameworks and cases with tools like SQL Server, JIRA, SOAPUI, Postman, and cloud data.
• Building and analyzing automation test suites for various data and UI components.
• Developing complex SQL scripts and automating data validation.
• Mentoring junior testing resources and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Position Details

This is a fully remote position reporting to New York Life's headquarters in NY; applicants may work from anywhere in the U.S.
