Job summary

Melaleuca, headquartered in Idaho Falls, Idaho, seeks a full-time Travel Coordinator to manage all company travel arrangements for employees, interviews, VIPs, customers, and executives. The role requires Sabre proficiency, attention to detail, and around-the-clock availability with on‑call weekends.

Responsibilities include using SharePoint and GET THERE for bookings, coordinating group travel for corporate events, managing refunds and tickets, and maintaining compliance with travel policies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Sabre.
  • Personal interest and passion for travel.
  • 50 wpm typing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Ability to follow training schedules, both trainer‑led and self‑guided courses.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.

  • Manages ticket refunds, exchanges, MCO's, PTA's, and other accountable documents.
  • Books and manages all Global Travel bookings.
  • Is available to all travelers 24 x 7 to assist with travel questions, delays, etc. taking 2 weekends each month as “on‑call”.
  • Takes extra steps necessary to ensure lowest logical fares and possible booking prices.
  • Ensures adherence to all Corporate Travel Policies.
  • Works on special projects as assigned.
  • Manages agreements and relationships with the booking Master Agency, major Airlines, Hotels, and rental car companies.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for booking all company travel including air, hotel, car, rail, and other, for employees, interview candidates, VIPS, customers, and Marketing Executives. (Some international markets may book travel locally.)

  • Coordinates travel by interfacing directly with employees, interview candidates, VIPS, customers and Marketing Executives for their travel needs.

Requirements for this Role:
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Sabre. (After a period of 6 months)
  • A personal interest and passion for travel.
  • Business Development training (Panel not required).
  • 50 wpm typing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally.
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Ability to follow training schedules, both trainer‑led and self‑guided courses.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy.
