Job summary

You will advise clients on contracts, governance, and regulatory compliance, and structure and negotiate transactions. Duties include drafting and reviewing agreements, entity formation documents, and coordinating with colleagues across practice areas.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years+ prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department handling business or other transactional matters.
• Active license to practice law in Wisconsin
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach and professional integrity

Responsibilities

• Advising business clients on contracts, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Structuring and negotiating business transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing agreements and entity formation documents.
• Coordinating with colleagues across practice areas when client matters overlap.
• Conducting legal research, preparing memoranda and opinions.
