Job summary

McElroy Deutsch is seeking an attorney with at least six years of experience handling banking and commercial transactions for the Philadelphia, PA office. The role will involve large contracts, regulatory matters, loan workouts, and general corporate issues for financial institutions and other clients of the firm.

Qualified candidates will have strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills, plus the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the Pennsylvania bar.
• Minimum six years of experience in banking and commercial transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and corporate agreements, including large contracts and M&A.
• Manage complex transactions involving multiple parties and deadlines.
• Provide business-focused advice on governance and related matters.

Job description

McElroy Deutsch is seeking attorneys with a minimum of 6 years of experience handling banking and commercial transactions for the Firm’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. Work will involve large contracts, regulatory matters, loan workouts, and general corporate issues for financial institutions and other clients of the Firm. Portable book of business preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents, corporate agreements, including large contracts, license agreements, and mergers and acquisitions;
• Manage and coordinate complex transactions involving multiple parties;
• Provide general business representation to clients, including advice on corporate governance and other related matters;
• andMaintain and manage assignments efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school;
