Role: UK Tax Associate Level: 2-6 PQE Location: London Practice Area: Tax (Corporate, Finance, Real Estate, Investment Funds)The Opportunity: Join a top-ranked, international tax practice advising major corporates, financial institutions, funds, and investment vehicles on a broad range of high-value UK and cross-border tax matters. This is a dynamic role offering a balance of standalone advisory work and complex transactional support.Key Responsibilities:Advising on UK tax implications of M&A, private equity transactions, business disposals, and corporate reorganisationsStructuring of real estate transactions, debt restructurings, and investment fund formationsSupporting finance teams on structured finance and capital markets transactionsAdvising on collective investment vehicles including LPs, JVs, REITs, hybrid funds, OEICs, and unit trustsDrafting and reviewing tax elements of transactional documents and supporting tax-related negotiationsLiaising with international offices on cross-border structuring and treaty issuesContributing to knowledge management, training, and business development initiatives within the groupWhat They're Looking For:A qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2-6 years' post-qualification experience (PQE is a guide only - all levels considered)Solid experience in UK corporate taxation from a top UK or international firmExperience in finance tax is advantageous but not essentialA proactive, commercial approach with excellent drafting and advisory skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills - able to build relationships with clients and collaborate across teamsAbility to manage workstreams independently and mentor junior team members where appropriateAcademically strong, with a 2:1 or above (or equivalent) from a reputable institutionTeam Culture & Development: You'll be part of a highly collaborative and collegiate tax team that encourages professional growth, cross-border collaboration, and hands-on client exposure.
