If you are highly motivated with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills, and hold an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to help our customers complete their taxes using TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. A strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws for business and personal returns, along with significant experience in preparing and filing these returns, is essential.

What you'll bring

• At least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for a minimum of 20 clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney.
• Preferably, at least 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with 30+ returns per year.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread over three or more days.
• Bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients is a plus.
• Ability to obtain any required state licenses, certificates, or permits.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Willingness to commit to at least 20 hours/week during the tax season.
• Knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficiency with technology and software.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally via video and audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable internet connection meeting security standards.

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role utilizing video communication tools, with accurate documentation of interactions.
