Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years at a top-tier consulting firm or similar experience in corporate strategy or corporate development
• Power generation experience in power markets and gas-fired generation tech knowledge
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and collaborating across departments/teams
• Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking with financial modeling
• Excellent writing, verbal, and visual communications (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Able to structure and present complex business research in a fast-paced environment
• Power market fundamentals strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze market, competitor, and technology dynamics and trends in power and gas segments to generate insights informing strategy
• Support development of growth recommendations and strategy for core and new business areas
• Lead strategic taskforces end-to-end from problem definition to analysis and recommendations
• Work cross-functionally and communicate insights to senior executives
• Contribute to annual strategic planning processes and execution plans
• Perform financial modeling including outlook, NPV, and scenario analyses
• Identify potential strategic alliances, assist with structuring and negotiations, and manage consultants/advisors
