Job summary

Allied Universal in Goleta, CA is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) to safeguard client sites, monitor access, and respond to alarms. You will provide courteous customer service and maintain a visible presence as part of a reliable team.

The role is full-time with daytime shifts and a pay rate listed at $22.75 per hour. Prior customer service and access-control experience are preferred; a high school diploma is required; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
