Job summary

Allied Universal in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Security Officer for our Corporate Campus Patrol. This full-time, unarmed role helps safeguard clients, monitor sites, and provide courteous service while upholding Allied Universal's values.

You'll patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, log reports, and maintain a visible presence to deter security issues, with a schedule described below.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by performing security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
