Job Overview

We are currently looking for a paid Corporate Security Intern to join our team in Holland, MI. This position will be working onsite at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters.

As a Corporate Security Intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of exciting projects that may include enhancing security metrics and data reporting (make the data tell a story), assisting with security audits across office and manufacturing locations, and being a part of developing executive-level summaries with actionable recommendations. You will gain experience and insight into supporting large-scale company events, coordinating safety and security operations, participating in emergency preparedness activities, and partnering with plant leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen physical security programs and drive follow-through on audit findings.

After a few weeks you'll be attending NeoCon, the largest commercial design event in the world. There you will get an insider's look at all the latest industry trends and innovations. Throughout the summer you will dive into real projects that will give you a taste of what it's like to work in a leading business and manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business, Psychology or Social Work, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher.
• Prior Haworth experience.
• Previous employment experience.
• Extra-curricular activity experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
• Microsoft Office 365 suite experience, with focus of experience with Power BI.
• Experience with AI and machine learning.
• Medical response experience and/or interest.

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment.
• Ability to multi-task with possibly frequent interruptions.
