Accountability Statement
Assist in the protection of corporate assets for VyStar locations throughout the enterprise.
Essential Job Functions
- Conduct and/or review location security and safety audits.
- Identify opportunities and vulnerabilities, and work with RCSM and Physical Security Project Manager to document completion of projects.
- Compile and prepare routine incident and metrics reporting as directed.
- Detect and report to the RCSM any indications of internal theft, external theft, collusion, organized crime, etc.
- Provide adequate training to managers and staff on appropriate topics including theft and fraud prevention and detection measures, etc.
- Assist with the successful roll‑out and implementation of programs as directed relating to security, safety, the prevention of theft, and violence.
- Develop strong working relationships with key leaders to include Branch VPs, HR, Legal, Enterprise Risk etc.
- Handle law enforcement requests for information following company policies.
- In the events of criminal incidents, threat assessments, and other time‑sensitive security matters, promptly seek guidance from and work in partnership with RCSM.
- Assist area locations as needed with security technology such as CCTV, alarm, access‑control, fraud prevention equipment, and physical security components and equipment.
- Complete, investigate, and close Security Incident Reports.
- Working with the RCSM and other Managers, follow up on the completion of action items from Annual Security Surveys.

- To enhance a healthy risk culture and support our growth for good pillar, employees will maintain vigilance in safeguarding our operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates.
- The Risk team serves as the second line of defense by providing risk oversight and credible challenge whereas the Audit team serves as the third line of defense by providing risk assurance.

- Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Alarm, and Access Control Systems.

Education & Experience
Prior law enforcement preferred or 5+ years’ experience in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection, or Corporate Security. Meet the organization’s standards for hiring, including character references and, if required, passage of pre‑employment drug screening.
