Job summary

Dow Inc. in Midland, MI is seeking a Paralegal Specialist to provide paralegal support across many legal topics (excluding Litigation) as part of the Core Legal Practices Client Services team.

The role emphasizes work ethic, collaboration, initiative, and continuous learning within a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's or associate degree (with plan to complete) and at least one year of legal experience, including contract processing, drafting, and negotiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and commitment to earn Bachelor's within three years, or relevant military experience in US equivalent.
• One year of prior experience in a professional legal role.
• Experience with contract processing, reviewing, drafting, negotiating, redlining, and amending.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming client requests, assess gaps or legal risk, and apply work process standards to complete requests.
• Adhere to standards to drive consistency and identify inefficiencies, waste or ambiguity; make recommendations.
• Meet or exceed turnaround times and positively impact team metrics.
