Job summary

Smart Warehousing is seeking a Paralegal to provide in-house legal support to the General Counsel across multiple corporate areas. The role involves contract reviews, preparing court documents, drafting letters, and conducting legal research in an office-based, full-time capacity.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, a Paralegal certificate, and 4+ years of experience in a law firm, agency, or corporate setting. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a law firm, agency, or corporate law department.
• Knowledgeable of legal principles and operating details of a company.
• Proficient in modern legal office practices, procedures, and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and maintain company contracts.
• Prepare and file court documents.
• Draft letters and assist in preparing legal pleadings and documents.
• Perform legal and factual research.
• Investigate and compile supporting documents; respond to subpoenas.
• Organize and maintain company files.
• Draft demand letters and manage timelines.
• Communicate with auction provider and between provider and company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by General Counsel.
