Corporate Marketing Strategist

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a part-time on-call Content Strategist with experience in the government and defense industries to help craft our corporate narrative. You will translate complex information into compelling stories, collaborating with engineers and executives to produce diverse content such as case studies, op-eds, blogs, white papers, and reports. Your work will enhance our messaging strategies and audience engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop capability/product positioning and messaging in collaboration with the business
  • Create high-quality marketing and communication materials, including reports, flyers, social media ads, brochures, web content, radio scripts, and multimedia scripts
  • Maintain consistency with brand voice, tone, and narrative guidelines
  • Proofread and edit all company content
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adhering to deadlines
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Experience in marketing communications within the government and defense sectors, with at least 10 years overall experience
  • Ability to simplify complex military or technological subjects into engaging stories
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills across all management levels
  • Exceptional organizational skills to handle competing priorities
  • Self-motivated and independent work ethic

Compensation:

The salary range is $73,800 to $155,100, influenced by location, experience, skills, and education. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, family support, education, and time off. Details here.
