LG Electronics North America is seeking a Corporate Marketing Manager to lead the LGEUS NAIC Marketing Lead for the LG Inspiration Lab and related programs. LG Electronics seeks a dynamic, community-minded person with corporate and group engagement experience to support programming for the LG Inspiration Lab™ visitor engagement for LG Electronics N. America Innovation Campus (NAIC) and other corporate marketing and partnership initiatives.
The LG Inspiration Lab ™ is a fun, interactive, hands-on educational space for elementary, middle and high school students that allows them to experiment with state-of-the-art LG creations. The space lets visitors test out innovations, create virtual art, and imagine the possibilities of technology.
The role of the CM Manager/LGEUS NAIC Marketing Lead is to initiate and maintain an excellent experience for guests scheduled for corporate visits, LG Inspiration Lab K-12 field trips, and other engagements related to the LG Electronics NA Innovation Center. This person will be the main guide for the LG US Corporate building, LG Inspiration Lab and the product showrooms.
As the lead coordinator of scheduled activities that take place in the LGEUS NA Innovation Center, this person will play a key role in curating content for guests to appreciate LGE USA’s footprint. They will oversee scheduling and programming of the HS & MS Showrooms and the LG Inspiration Lab which will include management of the school field trip program. While ensuring that groups are scheduled with no conflict between events, she/he will need to evaluate resources for ongoing maintenance of the spaces and programs within them.
Acting as the liaison between LG and local community, the Corporate Marketing Manager will cultivate and forge positive relationships with educational institutions, children’s recreational groups and other key community stakeholders, while increasing LG’s presence in target communities.
This role may also include managing other corporate marketing programs which may include partnership marketing campaigns, hospitality programs, etc. For large scale, the CM Manager will be charged with planning and execution programs/campaigns while working alongside an external agency team. The candidate needs the necessary skills to collaborate, strategize and execute with internal and external partners.
The candidate will also be responsible for putting on internal employee engagement and CSR events throughout the year.
This role will require a minimum of 40 hours per week onsite during regular work hours. Must be available on occasion to work evenings and/or weekends for potential special events at the LGENA HQ campus or other sites. Some travel may be required throughout the year for hospitality program planning and events (~ 5-10%)
