Job summary

Lateral Link is assisting an elite firm with a new search for an M&A/PE Associate based in Washington, DC, and covering the Northeast markets. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, with a track record running sponsor-side transactions end-to-end, drafting, negotiating, and leading core workstreams across buyouts, add-ons, minority investments, and recapitalizations.

• Ability to draft, negotiate and lead core workstreams across buyouts, add-ons, minority/growth investments, venture rounds, recapitalizations, exits and executive equity

Responsibilities

• Lead core workstreams across multiple deal types including buyouts, add-ons, minority investments, and recapitalizations.
• Draft and negotiate deal documents and term sheets; supervise execution of closings.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to strategize and execute transactions from start to finish.
