Job summary

Confidential US law firm in Boston is seeking a mid‑level Corporate M&A Associate to take on live deals with immediate responsibility. The role involves leading M&A for strategic and PE clients, close partner involvement, and a hybrid pattern in a growing corporate bench.

You would negotiate, supervise diligence, coordinate inputs from tax and other teams, and manage end‑to‑end signing and closing. Massachusetts bar admission is expected or attainable.

Qualifications

• Solid M&A experience gained at a US law firm.
• Deals you have genuinely run and led.
• Commercial awareness and client-facing comfort.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating purchase agreements, merger agreements and ancillary documents
• Leading diligence exercises and supervising junior colleagues
• Running buy-side and sell-side M&A for corporates and sponsors
• Coordinating input from tax, employment, IP and regulatory colleagues
• Managing signing and closing processes end to end
• Advising on minority investments, joint ventures and reorganisations
