Confidential Employer is seeking an experienced associate to join its nationally recognized Corporate and M&A practice in a hybrid role located in Nashville or Chicago. The candidate must have 3+ years of corporate transactional experience and 2+ years of M&A deal work, with an active U.S.

bar license and strong academic credentials. You will advise on sophisticated matters, draft agreements, conduct due diligence and coordinate with senior attorneys to advance high-value transactions for public

Location:

Note: Candidates must be 3rd-year attorneys or above with 2+ years of sophisticated corporate transactional experience and 2+ years of M&A deal experience. An active U.S. bar license in good standing, J.D. from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials are required.

• Provide thoughtful, commercially focused legal guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an associate attorney; 3rd-year attorney or above.
• 2+ years of sophisticated corporate transactional experience.
• 2+ years of M&A deal experience.
• Experience representing private equity firms and/or private companies in sophisticated transactions.
• Experience with public company M&A is required.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active law license in a U.S. jurisdiction in good standing.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage sophisticated transactions and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• SEC reporting, capital markets and/or corporate governance experience is a plus.
