This position is responsible for the Inventory Accuracy company wide. In addition, negotiating with shippers for internal movement, processing in-house purchase orders, pick tickets, and transfers, warranty and inventory returns, creating and maintaining inventory accuracy, quality assurance, fleet / equipment health and managing. Lead and accountability of inventory warehouse specialists’ company wide including the Purchasing department. This position will work with staff across departments to forecast the needs of the business inventory, warehouse, fleet and equipment for budgetary needs.

KEY RESULTS AREA:

Responsible for Inventory Accuracy for 2 branches and 16 rolling warehouses, set and maintain min/max levels, inventory turnover, purchase orders management and oversight of the purchasing department. Inventory cycle time, negotiate in-house shipper pricing and deliverables, manage repair and maintenance for a healthy fleet and equipment inventory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set, track, and maintain appropriate and accurate inventory for each branch location within budgetary levels.
  • Inventory management through timely Purchasing, setting min/max, cycle counts, inventory accuracy and maximizing warehouse flow.
  • Assess quality and accuracy of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers for processing, warranty or credit.
  • Develop and provide monthly reporting for IOH per branch, continually working to reduce inventory dead stock and overstock.
  • Develop, document, and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Transportation management of goods, tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Accurately track and report key functional metrics - ROI analysis.
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clear communication of specifications of product, timelines and expectations.
  • Manage and direct company fleet / equipment maintenance and oversee coordination of any necessary repairs.
