This includes assisting with policy administration, claims coordination, risk assessments, certificate of insurance issuance, and ensuring compliance with contractual insurance requirements.

This position will actively participate in an environment that embraces risk awareness, continuous improvement, collaboration, and learning, while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners (brokers and carriers). You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of insurance lines, contribute to renewal processes, and support the development of insurance best practices – all while ensuring adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $60,000-$65,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Work-life balance with vacation, personal time and paid holidays. See our benefits and perks page for details.
  • Applicants for this position must not now, nor at any point in the future, require sponsorship for employment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Create and monitor metrics used to inform leadership of current trends and costs for claims and insurance, extracting insights to lead to improved results.
  • Gather, review, and report internal and external data for insurance applications, including identifying and collecting the exposure data needed for insurance policy renewals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (brokers and carriers) to facilitate timely handling of accurate certificates of insurance, endorsements, invoice processing, and general insurance inquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain insurance trackers, dashboards, and data to support policy renewals, claims activity, presentations, and internal business partner requests.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline insurance workflows and enhance data accuracy.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Ability to work under pressure, establish deadlines and execute against them.
  • Strong communication skills verbally, non-verbally and in written formats, with peers and management including in times of conflict and negotiation.
  • Attention to detail and follow-up, analytical acumen and excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple and competing priorities across team members.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with minimal supervision.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Accounting, or a related business field.
  • Foundational understanding of insurance business processes, including policy administration and/or claims support.
  • Prior experience supporting corporate insurance programs, working with brokers, carriers or Third-Party Admins is preferred.
