Job summary

BBVA is seeking a Corporate FX Sales professional in New York to support a portfolio of US corporate clients with FX products and derivatives, including hedging strategies and liquidity management.

The role involves engaging clients, offering value-added solutions, onboarding documentation, regulatory adherence, and coordination with BBVA's US, European, and LatAm teams. A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of FX sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • One to two years of Corporate FX sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of hedging and liquidity products used for corporate risk management.
  • Broad familiarity with the US corporate client base.
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations for dealing with US corporate clients.
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information, trading services, and product ideas to our target corporate client base.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and ideas to address clients' risk management and hedging needs.
  • Help the team achieve sales targets and enhance client relationships.
  • Assist onboarding of clients (New York City, documentation, regulatory aspects).
  • Interact independently with clients and discuss appropriate services and products.
  • Collaborate with other group units and offices in the US, Europe, and LatAm.
  • Communicate research, market trends, and house views to clients and internal teams.
