Job summary

gpac partners with a growing pet food manufacturer to place a Corporate Food Safety & Quality Manager who will drive FSQ initiatives across multiple facilities. You’ll influence supplier quality, regulatory compliance, data analysis, and continuous improvement at a high-visibility level.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Food Science (or related field), hands-on cGMP experience, knowledge of FDA regulations, FSQ system proficiency, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field, required.
• Hands-on food manufacturing experience in a cGMP environment.
• Strong knowledge of FDA food regulations.
• Experience with FSQ systems, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze FSQ data, trends, and key performance metrics.
• Develop dashboards, control charts, and visual reporting tools.
• Lead supplier approval, qualification, and audit activities.
• Drive initiatives to improve quality and reduce Cost of Quality.
• Support FDA/FSMA compliance and regulatory programs.
• Utilize CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Six Sigma, PDCA, and other quality tools.
• Partner with plant and corporate teams to strengthen Food Safety & Quality culture.
• Present findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
• Support FSQ improvement initiatives across multiple facilities.
