Job summary

gpac is partnering with a growing pet food manufacturer to place a Corporate Food Safety & Quality Manager. This role drives FSQ initiatives across multiple facilities, focusing on data analysis, supplier quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on food manufacturing experience in a cGMP environment, with strong FDA knowledge and proficiency in quality tools to analyze trends and drive measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in food manufacturing within a cGMP environment.
• Strong understanding of FDA food regulations.
• Experience with Food Safety & Quality systems and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report FSQ data from production and improvement activities.
• Develop control charts, dashboards, and visual tools to monitor FSQ performance.
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement across key FSQ metrics.
• Manage product and supplier specification sheets and audits.
• Apply Six Sigma to improve FSQ metrics and cost of quality.
