Job summary

Guardian Flight, a Global Medical Response company, is hiring a Corporate Floating Flight Nurse to join our air medical team. The role offers a 10 days on / 20 days off rotation, with company-paid crew housing during shifts and a starting annual salary of $94,000–$97,000.

The Flight Nurse will transport patients to and from facilities and support scene calls, delivering high-quality critical care in flight, while maintaining safety standards and coordinating with ground teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Use critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment, perform equipment/base checks, and comply with safety standards and briefings.
• Collaborate and communicate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change information and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.

We’re hiring a Corporate FloatingFlight Nurseto work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you’ll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings.
• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

MinimumQualifications:
