Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide financial planning and analysis support to Corporate service lines in Grand Rapids. You will partner with leaders and provide guidance to help meet financial goals.

Responsibilities include developing margin analyses, reviewing monthly results with leaders, and collaborating on annual planning and forecasts. You will prepare variances, advise on profitability, and craft pro formas for capital and operating investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field.
• 1 year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related work.
• Preferred Master's Degree in Business or Finance.
• CPA certification (State MI) preferred.

Job Summary

Provides financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support to Corewell Health Corporate service lines. Interacts with various levels of leadership as a financial partner and provides guidance and expertise to assist in meeting financial goals.

Essential Functions

• Develops accurate and timely analysis of departmental margins.
• Engages in review of monthly operational results with leaders.
• Consults with Operations Management and/or System Financial Reporting team on accounting and finance related matters.
• Collaborates with operations to develop the annual plan and periodic financial forecasts.
• Prepares variance analyses and investigates reasons for major variances, develops and presents potential solutions.
• Provides guidance on business issues including financial analysis, profitability analysis, and outside business ventures.
• Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
• Prepares financial pro forma and business plans for capital and operational investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field
• 1 year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related work
• Preferred Master's Degree Business or Finance
• LIC-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - STATE_MI State of Michigan
