Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a talented, organized chef to lead the daily food program at our corporate office.

You will plan and prepare breakfast and lunch for approximately 25 employees, build a pantry of high-quality ingredients, and manage daily kitchen operations with support from Taher’s larger team of chefs. The role emphasizes scratch cooking, seasonal menus, and a welcoming dining experience, with creative freedom and collaboration on menus and events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in scratch cooking and breakfast/lunch service.
• Experience planning rotating menus with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare breakfast and lunch for ~25 employees each weekday.
• Create rotating menus using high-quality ingredients.
• Prepare breakfast options that are energizing and meals that satisfy.
• Focus on scratch cooking, proper techniques, and thoughtful presentation.
• Manage pantry, inventory, and daily kitchen operations.
• Coordinate with Taher culinary leadership for coverage and collaboration.
