As the Corporate Engagement Coordinator at United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC), you will play an important role in supporting the organization's efforts to grow revenue, deepen stakeholder engagement, and elevate brand visibility through strong corporate partnerships. In this role, you will assist in the planning and execution of engagement strategies that align companies’ philanthropic goals with UWGC’s mission to improve lives and create lasting community change.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Assist in coordinating and supporting corporate fundraising and engagement initiatives.
- Work closely with the Resource Development team to implement corporate engagement plans that increase giving, volunteer participation, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Help organize and execute workplace campaign activities, including coordinating speaker requests, impact experiences, and volunteer events.
- Contribute to signature Corporate Engagement projects such as Campaign Jumpstart and United We Celebrate with guidance from senior team members.
- Support the development of account growth goals and contribute to the planning needed to meet those targets.
- Assist in cultivating and maintaining strong, sustainable relationships with corporate partners through consistent engagement and communication.
- Help track and manage corporate sponsorships and grants for a designated portfolio.
- Support relationship-building with key stakeholders, including corporate contacts, volunteers, and internal teams.
- Participate in delivering UWGC’s mission and impact messages during presentations and partner interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the internal CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
- Research and understand the history, culture, and philanthropic priorities of assigned corporate accounts.
- Contribute to the strategic management of corporate portfolios to ensure effective stewardship and long-term engagement.
- Stay informed about UWGC’s community impact work and integrate this knowledge into partner engagement efforts.
- Represent United Way at corporate and community events, supporting efforts to strengthen our visibility and relationships.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, corporate relations, volunteer engagement, or a related area preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and familiarity with Salesforce CRM preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Basic consultative selling skills preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented
- Commitment to excellence and building positive relationships.

Working Conditions
- Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Salary
$45,106 plus competitive benefits package (final offer based on level of experience)
