This role requires 1–4 years of experience in investment banking or corporate development, strong financial modeling skills, and prior industry experience in LNG or midstream energy. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to evaluate and execute strategic opportunities. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.

Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr

Our client is an LNG operating company, formed by a Global Energy and Infrastructure Investment Manager, focused on building a diversified, resilient, cost and carbon competitive LNG portfolio. This global operating company has committed over $10B to the LNG space, through various $1-$3B deals over the past few years.

Job Description: The company is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to support growth initiatives across M&A, project development, capital markets, and strategic planning. This role will work closely with senior management, the private equity sponsor, and external advisors to evaluate and execute value‑accretive opportunities across the LNG value chain.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments across LNG infrastructure and related midstream assets.


• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including project‑level cash flow models, valuation analyses, and scenario sensitivities.


• Prepare investment memoranda and materials for internal investment committees and the private equity sponsor.


• Conduct market research and competitive analysis across LNG markets, including supply/demand dynamics, pricing, contracting structures, and regulatory frameworks.


• Support strategic planning initiatives, including growth strategy, asset optimization, and capital allocation analyses.


• Assist in evaluating and structuring project‑level and corporate financing solutions, including debt, equity, and hybrid capital.

Qualifications
