Job description

Senior Associate, Corporate Development & Strategic Partnerships

We are seeking an unusually resourceful, high-judgment Senior Associate to work directly with the CEO across business development, corporate strategy, financing, diligence, execution and selected company-building initiatives.

This is not a traditional corporate development or strategy role. The Senior Associate will have direct exposure to company-building, working across pharma partnering, investor and financing discussions, R&D decision-making and the day-to-day execution required to move an emerging biotech company forward, and they will work closely with experienced founders and executive leadership across multiple therapeutic programs.

The candidate should be equally comfortable preparing for a strategic pharma discussion, building an analysis or investor quality presentation materials, or working with the CEO to develop and drive internal R&D and operational strategy. At the same time, the successful candidate will be comfortable moving between high-level strategic work and detailed execution.

This role is for an ambitious, disciplined professional on a strong career trajectory who combines analytical horsepower with sound judgement, exceptional follow-through, and commercial instinct. The ideal candidate has deep intellectual curiosity and a natural tendency to think beyond the immediate and obvious question. They will connect scientific, commercial and strategic information, anticipate what comes next, and translate that thinking into action.

The candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of the detailed work required to turn decisions into action, and will develop a point of view rather than simply reporting information. The role offers unusual exposure to the decisions, trade-offs, and execution required to build and advance an emerging biotech company.
