Meet The Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cisco legal team directly supporting the Americas Service Provider business. You'll work with Cisco Service Provider customers in the technology, media, and communications segment to enable customer success and meet Cisco goals; develop close working relationships with the sales, engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams, bringing our products to market, and gain a deep understanding of our go-to-market strategies, business processes, and product offerings.

  6. Relationship Management and Customer Centricity: You excel at building relationships, credibility, and trust with customers, clients, support teams, suppliers, and partners, maintaining a pragmatic focus on customer needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • JD degree and Bar admission in any jurisdiction with good standing, with 5+ years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
  • Legal experience in software and cloud services industries.
  • Knowledge of commercial, contract, and business law, including intellectual property and data protection law.
  • Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills, capable of discussing issues clearly both in writing and orally, covering licensing, warranties, indemnities, and limitations of liability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations, as well as familiarity with as-a-service offerings.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition and financial principles relevant to US publicly traded companies.
  • CIPP/E certification is a plus.
