Google seeks a Corporate Counsel to address political law compliance and ethics issues across US operations. You will work with public policy, commercial legal, and product teams to deliver practical legal guidance and scalable compliance programs.

The role emphasizes proactive risk assessment and cross-functional collaboration to move information law forward while maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Must have JD/LL.B. or equivalent and bar admission in the state where the role is located.
• At least 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or law firm.
• Experience with political law enforcement and compliance issues, including gift rules.
• Authorized to practice law in the relevant US jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of political law compliance programs with focus on US laws.
• Provide timely, practical legal advice to stakeholders across Google.
• Design and manage scalable compliance processes and training.
• Assist with other compliance programs as requested.
