Ladders is seeking a Corporate Counsel - Compliance & Regulatory to provide hands-on legal guidance on healthcare compliance and regulatory matters with a focus on medical device operations. The role partners with business leaders to strengthen programs, manage risk, and support day-to-day decision-making in a highly regulated environment. Location: Remote.

Compensation: $140,000 – $176,000 annually. The ideal candidate will hold a JD, be admitted to the U.S.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school; active U.S. law license.
• 5–10 years of legal experience focused on healthcare compliance and regulatory matters.
• Experience in medical devices, either in firm or in-house.
• Expertise in Anti-Kickback Statute, Sunshine Act, HIPAA, and FDA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Advise on compliance and regulatory matters, including healthcare laws.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance statutes and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and policies.
• Act as Compliance Officer and HIPAA Officer for designated business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with compliance considerations.
• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments; manage investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance across the organization.

For our client, we are seeking a Corporate Counsel - Compliance & Regulatory to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will provide hands‑on legal guidance on healthcare compliance and regulatory matters with a particular focus on medical device operations. The position will partner closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen compliance programs, manage risk, and support day‑to‑day decision‑making. It is a strong opportunity for an experienced legal professional who can operate as both a trusted advisor and a practical business partner in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $140,000 – $176,000 annually
