Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Corporate Counsel to provide legal guidance on cloud security, regulatory compliance, and technology transactions. The role is based in Seattle, WA and reports to the AWS Legal team.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel on cloud‑security, transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Advise on emerging global cybersecurity regulations and shape public‑policy strategy.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on security commitments in enterprise cloud agreements.
• Lead negotiations for technology, IP, and data‑licensing agreements (inbound and outbound).
• Support the global security response team with nuanced legal perspectives.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

Base salary range: USD 153,900 – 208,200 per year. Compensation includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and a comprehensive benefits package (health, 401(k) match, PTO, parental leave, etc.).
