CORPORATE COUNSEL

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• Five to ten years of relevant legal experience.
• Broad experience in commercial contracts and corporate transactional matters.
• Experience with commercial real estate transactions strongly preferred.
• Experience with zoning, land use, permitting, development approvals, or related governmental matters preferred.
• Experience with equestrian-related law or equestrian businesses, transactions, operations, events, or disputes preferred.
• Litigation or litigation-management experience preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, establish priorities, and work independently.
• Sound judgment and the ability to communicate legal issues clearly to non-lawyers.
• A practical, collaborative, and business-focused approach.
• Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, the Ocala, Florida area and work on-site.

Required Qualifications
