Job summary

Brentwood Industries is seeking a Cost Accountant to maintain and review cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate product costing and monthly financial results. You will support analyses, forecasts, and budgets while identifying improvement opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a bachelor's in Finance/Accounting with 2+ years in cost accounting; familiarity with ERP (Syteline) and Power BI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 2+ years of cost accounting experience or equivalent.
• Experience working in a plant environment is a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, safety rules, and operational instructions.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, customers, and vendors.
• Proficient skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with integrated ERP software applications; Syteline experience preferred and PowerBI preferred.

Responsibilities
