Our capabilities are constantly expanding and currently include metal stamping, laser cutting, brake forming, tubular stamped components, CNC and Swiss machined parts, wire forms, thread rolling, weldments, and integrated assemblies. Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship.

Job Description

Position Overview:

The Controller is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s accounting operations, including the development and maintenance of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements. The Controller plays a key role in multi-entity consolidation, and manufacturing cost accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets across multiple international locations.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations for consolidated reporting.
  • Develop and maintain standard costing models and inventory accounting across manufacturing facilities.
  • Analyze variances and drive cost improvements in collaboration with operations leadership.
  • Support due diligence, valuation, and integration activities for M&A and financing initiatives.
  • Strengthen internal controls and implement best practices in financial processes and systems.
  • Drive automation and ERP optimization initiatives to support scalability and efficiency.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration between finance, operations, and commercial teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
  • Experience in a private equity-owned, multinational manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience with:
    • Multi-entity consolidations
    • Foreign currency and intercompany transactions
    • Cost accounting in manufacturing
    • Private equity reporting and audit processes
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Expertise with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
