Job summary

Raisin is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to shape our global narrative with a focus on Germany. You will translate complex fintech topics into compelling stories, build media relationships, and lead editorial planning across markets.

You will own corporate topics, drive innovation in external formats, coordinate media activities, and collaborate with international teams to ensure consistent messaging worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years in corporate communications, PR, or journalism.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
  • Strong fintech/finance/startup background.
  • Proven ability to build trust with internal management and external partners.
  • Highly analytical with ability to turn data into stories.
  • Confident spokesperson with media pitching experience.
  • Hands-on mentality to develop new external formats from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Own corporate and macro topics and position Raisin as a thought leader.
  • Analyze data to craft compelling, newsworthy narratives.
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar for alignment and execution.
  • Develop new external communication formats (reports, executive positioning, campaigns).
  • Serve as the contact for the media and meet journalists regularly.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal executives and external stakeholders.
  • Draft high-quality corporate materials (press releases, statements, op-eds).
  • Coordinate media activities including briefings and interviews.
  • Monitor financial media landscape and surface PR opportunities.
  • Ensure global alignment with Raisin's strategy across teams.

As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will play a central role in shaping our corporate narrative on a global scale with a strong focus on Germany. Coming from a fast-paced fintech, finance, or startup background, you know how to translate complex business and macroeconomic developments into compelling stories. You are a proactive networker who thrives on building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to take ownership of corporate topics, drive innovation, and act as a reliable point of contact for the media.

Your Responsibilities
  • Corporate & Macro Topics: Take ownership of corporate and macroeconomic topics, positioning the company as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: Analyze internal and external data to craft interesting stories, unique angles, and compelling narratives that capture media attention.
  • Editorial Planning: Create and maintain a full editorial calendar to ensure consistent planning, alignment, and execution.
  • Format Innovation: Be accountable for projects focused on introducing and developing new external communication formats (e.g., industry reports, executive positioning, creative campaigns) to engage our target audiences.
  • Media Relations: Serve as a dedicated point of contact for the media. You are happy to meet with journalists on a regular basis to pitch stories and build long-lasting relationships.
  • Stakeholder Management: Actively build, nurture, and manage relationships with key internal executives and external stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and cohesive messaging.
  • Content Creation: Draft high-quality corporate materials, including press releases, briefing documents, statements, and opinion pieces.
  • Media Coordination: Coordinate media activities, including briefings and interviews.
  • Monitoring & Risk Management: Monitor the financial media landscape and competitive activity to surface PR opportunities and proactively manage potential risks to reputation.
  • Global Alignment: Ensure that all corporate communications are aligned with our global strategy, seamlessly collaborating with international teams.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional experience in corporate communications, PR, or journalism.
  • Excellent communications skills, written and spoken, in both German and English.
  • Strong background in the fintech, finance, or high-growth startup scene.
  • Proven ability to build trust and strong relationships with both internal management and external partners.
  • Highly analytical with a knack for turning dry data into exciting, newsworthy stories.
  • Confident spokesperson with a proactive approach to building press relationships and pitching to the media.
  • Hands-on mentality with a strong drive to actively develop and implement new external communication formats from scratch.
Nice to Have
  • An existing, warm network of media contacts (especially within DACH financial, tech, or business media).
  • Practical experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for communications, content creation, and video generation.
  • Familiarity with PR tools and media monitoring platforms.
  • Experience handling executive communications or CEO positioning.
  • Hands-on experience with video editing tools and visual media production.
