AT&T in Dallas offers an entry-level Corporate Communications internship of about 12 weeks as a rotational program exposing you to key areas and media interactions.
You will work on digital content, press releases, speeches, and internal/external communications, while learning fundamentals of communications and building relationships with stakeholders.
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No Relocation offered. As a member of AT&T’s Corporate Communications team, this entry-level internship is a rotational program that spans approximately 12 weeks. This dynamic program will offer candidates exposure to key areas of Corporate Communications while learning the fundamentals of communications and gaining experience working with external media.
Work on key communications efforts including digital content, press releases, speeches, internal and external communications, and other projects. Work on developing and executing tactical communications programs. Participate in mentorship opportunities. Interact with leaders within the department and the company.
Detail-orientation, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and creativity to help drive results. Willingness to network and build relationships that will benefit your career, along with the ability to work both independently and in a group environment. A naturally curiosity about the many innovations being fostered at AT&T. We also value strong GPA and academic achievements.
Recent graduate with a degree focus in journalism, public relations, or communications are preferred. Adjacent degrees can be considered. Interest in media relations and experience working with external stakeholders is a plus. Previous relevant internship experience with media relations. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong GPA and academic achievements.
Our Corporate Communications interns earn an annual base salary of $53,900, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting pay within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
