Metric is partnering with a world-class manufacturer in Dallas to recruit a strong Buyer for the Supply Chain & Procurement team. The role will focus on sourcing and procuring packaging materials, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating pricing to reduce costs while safeguarding quality.

You will monitor stock, forecast needs, and collaborate with production, quality and logistics to resolve issues and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement experience within a manufacturing site.
• Degree educated.
• Preference for packaging, commodity or FDA-regulated material experience.

Responsabilités

We are looking for a strong Buyer to join the Supply Chain & Procurement team.

• Source and procure packaging materials, ensuring quality, cost, availability and specification requirements are consistently met.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and identify opportunities to reduce packaging costs while maintaining quality.
• Monitor stock levels, forecasts and purchasing requirements to ensure packaging is available to support production and customer demand.
• Collaborate with suppliers, production, quality and logistics teams to resolve supply issues, improve packaging specifications and support continuous improvement initiatives.

To be considered for this role you need:

• 3+ years of procurement and buying experience within a manufacturing site.
• Degree educated.
• High preference for a background procuring packaging, commodity or FDA regulated material.
