Corporate Business Office Manager (Pennsylvania)

This role serves as the primary liaison between facility-level Business Office Managers (BOMs) and the Accounts Receivable (AR) department. The ideal candidate will have regional BOM experience in Pennsylvania, with responsibilities including training, compliance, financial oversight, and support across multiple facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact between facility BOMs and the AR Director regarding business office operations.
- Provide on-site support during vacations or vacancies of BOMs.
- Develop and implement BOM training and compliance systems.
- Review financial data to support AR performance goals.
- Lead quarterly BOM Report Card reviews and collaborate with leadership.
- Oversee billing, collections, and appeals for Private Pay and Medicaid.
- Monitor Medicaid cases and follow up weekly; escalate as needed.
- Coordinate with legal and administrative leaders on guardianship or POA issues.
- Conduct monthly collection calls and AR performance updates.
- Address escalated financial concerns from families and residents.
- Draft and send collection and warning letters for overdue accounts.
- Maintain communication with senior leadership, including the Chief Revenue Officer.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Office Manager in skilled nursing facilities in Pennsylvania.
- Regional BOM experience required.
- Deep knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, private-pay billing, and long-term care financial operations.
- Proficiency in PCC (PointClickCare) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness and ability to travel to support 6 Pennsylvania facilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
