Confidential Employer in Goshen, Indiana, is seeking a corporate attorney with a JD and Indiana license to join our hands-on business law practice. The role offers mentorship, exposure to owners and companies, and the chance to handle transactions from formation to closings.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, assist with entity formation, coordinate closings, and support mergers and acquisitions while building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Indiana.
• 1+ years of corporate or business law experience preferred; newly licensed attorneys encouraged to apply.
• Experience or interest in contracts, entity formation, business transactions, or corporate governance.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

• Advise business clients on corporate governance, business planning, and everyday legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, operating agreements, and corporate documents.
• Assist with business formation, entity structuring, and organizational matters.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, business sales, and other corporate transactions.
• Coordinate transaction closings with clients, lenders, accountants, and other professionals.
• Conduct legal research, assist with financing transactions, and develop practical solutions to business challenges.
• Work closely with experienced attorneys while building your own client relationships and transactional skills.
