Job summary

Zions Bank in Boise, ID is seeking a Corporate Banking Analyst to join our team. The role focuses on analyzing financial data, credit risk assessment, and supporting loan document creation for diverse corporate clients.

Based in our downtown Boise office, you will collaborate with Relationship Managers and Credit Administrators on substantial loan portfolios and provide customer service throughout the loan lifecycle. Five days in-office at the downtown Boise location is expected.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and some experience in loan processes, credit, credit analysis, documentation or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of credit, credit analysis and experience with various types of loans.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, audit documentation and solve problems.
  • Ability to make recommendations to officers.
  • Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets, word processing and credit analysis software.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, interpret, investigate, gather and present financial data including tax information and credit documentation to assess credit risk for corporate clients.
  • Review and initiate creation of loan documents to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Work with clients to manage and monitor credit risk.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and Credit Administrators on a multi-billion dollar loan portfolio, and assist with mid-sized loans and syndicated facilities.
  • Assist with basic and mid-sized loans and provide customer service on behalf of loan officers/relationship managers.
  • Serve as backup Relationship Manager as required.

Today, we are looking for a Corporate Banking Analyst to join our team in Boise, ID. Candidates with an accounting or finance background, including recent graduates, are encouraged to apply. Essential Functions
  • Analyze, interpret, investigate, gather and present financial data, including the tax information and credit documentation that is used to assess the credit risk of corporate banking clients.
  • Review and initiate the creation of loan documents for legal and structural considerations to ensure they comply with policies and regulations.
  • Work with clients to manage & monitor credit risk.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and Credit Administrators on a multi-billion dollar loan portfolio, make recommendations for credit and loan presentations, and assist with mid-sized loans to large multi-bank syndicated facilities..
  • Assist with basic and mid-sized loans; provide customer service on behalf of loan officers/relationship managers and team leaders.
  • Serve as backup Relationship Manager as required.
  • Assist with collection efforts and resolution of client problems.
  • May be responsible for disbursement of funds.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelors and some experience in loan processes, credit, credit analysis, documentation or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Basic knowledge of credit, credit analysis and experience working with various types of loans.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, audit documentation and solve problems.
  • Ability to make recommendations to officers.
  • Must have good communication, customer service and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of computer software, including spreadsheets, word processing and various types of credit analysis software.
Location

This position is five days in office at our downtown Boise office.
