Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a financial accounting professional to perform reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and maintain internal controls within the organization. You will also coordinate unclaimed property filings and train staff across departments.

The role requires 4–6 years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and ERP proficiency (Oracle/Oracle Fusion). This position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits through AAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• 4-6 years’ experience in financial accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using an ERP system such as Oracle/Oracle Fusion and other large ERP systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and the Company’s financial and banking structure.

Responsibilities

• Complete bank account reconciliations.
• Coordinate annual unclaimed property filings to various states.
• Train staff in assigned areas and ensure duties are performed accurately.
• Update procedures and reference manuals.
• Complete journal entries and back-up documentation monthly and clear reconciliation items.
• Administer internal controls for assets including reconciling depository/disbursement accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses.
• Develop statistics and analyze trends for significant changes.
• Provide technical accounting expertise to other departments.
