BCG Attorney Search seeks a Corporate Attorney for Emerging Growth Companies in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on venture capital financings, M&A transactions, and corporate governance matters.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in emerging growth and venture capital, with familiarity of NVCA, seriesseed.com, and Y Combinator forms, and experience in preferred stock, bridge and SAFE financings. JD required; bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• JD required and Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
• 5–8 years of experience in emerging growth and venture capital.
• Experience at AmLaw 100 law firms preferred.
• Familiarity with NVCA, Series Seed, and Y Combinator forms.
• Experience with preferred stock, bridge, and SAFE financings.
• Ability to manage due diligence on M&A transactions and advise on governance.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with partners, clients, and staff.
• Produce deliverables and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Analyze complex legal issues and apply legal principles.
• Provide accurate and well-reasoned work product.
• Ensure timely delivery of services, including outside business hours.
• Participate in meetings and travel as required.
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and staff.
