The People Of: Professional Services is seeking a Corporate Associate (2–4 years PQE) to join its Corporate & Securities team, based in Washington, DC or Northern Virginia. You will work on M&A transactions, venture financings, and emerging companies across technology, healthcare, financial services, and communications industries.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of corporate transactional experience (M&A, VC, or general corporate) at a leading firm.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management abilities.
• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school; admitted (or eligible) in DC or Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Advise on M&A transactions, venture financings, and governance.
• Draft and negotiate merger agreements, purchase agreements, financing documents, and ancillary contracts.
• Support high-growth companies from startup through IPO or exit.
• Lead due diligence and coordinate with clients and specialists on complex transactions.
