Job summary

AM50 Global Law Firm in New York is seeking a 4th-6th year Capital Markets Associate to join a market-leading Corporate Department and work on sophisticated public and private securities transactions for major issuers, investment banks and private equity clients.

You will advise on IPOs, follow-on offerings, direct listings and debt offerings, collaborating with a global platform and multidisciplinary teams across the Capital Markets practice.

Qualifications

• 4th-6th year associate with at least 2 years of Capital Markets experience.
• Experience with sophisticated securities transactions.
• Experience with equity and/or debt offerings.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and New York Bar admission.

Responsibilities

• Advise issuers, investment banks and PE clients on Capital Markets transactions.
• Work on IPOs, follow-on offerings and other equity transactions.
• Assist with high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings.
• Advise on direct listings and other innovative capital-raising transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documentation.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on high-value deals.

Compensation: $260,000-$390,000+

Our client, an AM50 global law firm with a premier Capital Markets practice, is looking to add a talented 4th-6th year Capital Markets Associate to its New York team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading Corporate Department and work on sophisticated public and private capital-raising transactions for major issuers, investment banks and private equity clients.

The practice handles a broad range of sophisticated transactions, including IPOs, direct listings, equity offerings, high-yield and investment-grade debt, equity-linked securities and other complex Capital Markets matters.

• Work on equity-linked securities and other complex financing solutions
• Draft and negotiate transaction documentation
• Advise clients on securities laws and regulatory matters
• Work closely with partners and senior associates on high-value transactions
• Collaborate with lawyers across a global Corporate and Capital Markets practice
