Corporate Associate Attorney - M&A / Securities

5+ Years of Experience

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Associate Attorney to join a sophisticated transactional practice in Chicago. This opportunity is well suited for an attorney who enjoys the variety of a broad corporate practice and has substantive experience with M&A, securities matters, and/or lending transactions.

The Attorney Will Work On Complex Corporate Transactions Involving

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Private securities offerings
• Corporate governance and general corporate matters
• Commercial lending and financing transactions
• Drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other transactional documents
• Transactional due diligence and deal execution
• Advising clients throughout the lifecycle of corporate transactions
• Coordinating with and overseeing junior attorneys and paralegals

Experience with public securities and stock exchange compliance, including the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Securities Act of 1933, is a plus.

Compensation & Schedule

Base Salary: $285,000-$305,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
